Karimi expresses confidence in BVAS | The Guardian Nigeria News - Nigeria and World News ⬇️

All Progressives Congress senatorial candidate for Kogi West, Sunday Karimi, has expressed confidence in the plans of Independent National Electoral Commission to deploy the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System and electronic transmission of results in the general elections.

After consultation with stakeholders in Lokoja, the State capital, yesterday, the two-term House of Representatives member said his conviction is based on the information from INEC that no one would be able to circumvent the BVAS technology. “Judging by what we have been made to understand, there will be no hiding place. Every party is on the alert. We are watching,” he said.

Karimi, however, promised to make road construction and electricity supply his cardinal constituency projects, if elected. His words: “Without good roads, bringing food to the cities would be difficult. That is why roads construction will be our major priority to enable our people enjoy dividends of democracy.”
