To further consolidate the girl-child education and women empowerment in modern time, the governor of Kano, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has approved the establishment of Kano State College of Education, Technical, for women.
While assuring that the proposed college would form part of strategies for empowering women as critical partners in developing the society and human resources in particular.“It is our belief in girl-child education and our resolve to take women to the next level, among others, that informed our decision to come up with this great and laudable objective of establishing college of education specifically for women,” Ganduje posited.
