Ganduje announced the ban yesterday at the closing ceremony of 77th annual Islamic Vacation Course organised by Zone A of the Muslim Society of Nigeria held at Bayero University.He said the state government was committed towards upholding Islamic values.
Commercial tricycles, popularly known as ‘A daidaita Sahu’ in the state, were introduced by a former governor of Kano, Ibrahim Shekarau, as a means of transportation for women only.Since Mr Shekarau’s exit as governor, however, tricycles have been allowed to carry people of both sexes, a move the state government has now said will be changed.

Please, i want to ask, personal vehicles that convened both men and women, what about that? Why is keke that are majorly used by masses. Can this really stop and can reduce immortality? Emergency can happen anytime and the only option to safe a life at midnight is through keke..

So a man and his wife cannot board the same tricycle or what is this all about. It's time they extend this to the airport where women board seperate aircrafts from the men too, infact different markets for women should be built to seperate them from the men.
There should also be law that men and women should not live in the same house and that men should not marry women again so that they may not have body contact. Religious hypocrisy will kill this country.

Can they board the same taxi? I have 3 children, 2girls and 1boy attending the same school and i have arranged with a tricycle operator conveyiñg them to and fro school everyday. As I may find it difficult hiring 2 tricycles considering my income, what will I do now?

These 'bans' are diversionary and are not the issues of importance to most Nigerians. The brazen theft and looting of the treasury by public officials are as corruption is being disguised in terms of religion in Nigeria.
