Kano explosion: Nine killed, police, residents disagree on cause of incident

The explosion rocked the Aba Road of the area in the early hours of Tuesday, killing nine with many others injured.

“DG @nemanigeria Mustapha Habib Ahmed was at the site of the incident and coordinated the rescue operations. NEMA is presently coordinating the rescue operations with sister agencies,” The police boss said, “The explosion brought the building down, and people were buried in rubbles from where four dead bodies were recovered.

So soon, someone would come out openly to confess 'why this incidence was called a gas explosion', where it was not. I begin to imagine the extend of the damage if this was truly a gas explosion.

If police and residents are now disagreeing. Police will use show of force now. Say is a bomb and you will be arrested 😂😂😂😂. Residents will say show us the remains of the gas cylinder. Police will show us that brand new gas cylinder that was seen in the car.

How would gas explosion bring down a building and there was no fire? Kano shouldn't allow this as it has been known to be one of the peaceful places in the north.
