Kano bans street begging, vows to take erring parents to court

In a bold effort to integrate the Almajiri pupils into the free and compulsory primary and secondary school education programme, Kano State Government has banned street begging in the State.

I hope the Kano government have put some palliatives in place to take care of the Alimajiris? Truth is Force will not keep the Alimajiris out of the streets, rather de - radicalization programme is key to make them see the need to stop begging, and go to school. God bless you
