The assembly declared that henceforth, the division of the Kano traditional council into five emirates is reversed to a single emirate. Meanwhile, North-based LEADERSHIP newspaper reports that a former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria , Sanusi Lamido Sanusi II, has been reinstated as the Emir of Kano.
