Speaking at the just concluded 148th meeting of the union in Geneva, Switzerland, Kalu said that the current IPU General Assembly Rule 11 shortchanged Africa and the crises that bedevilled the continent. Justice Abubakar Kutigi of a High Court of the Federal Capital Territory , yesterday, discharged former Attorney-General of the Federation , Mohammed Bello Adoke and six others.

Abia State Governor, Dr Alex Otti, has lamented that even though his state is part of the Niger Delta region, and ought to benefit from the Niger Delta Ministry and Niger Delta Development Commission’s statutory mandate, Abia is rather a major beneficiary of abandoned NDDC projects.
