The Kaduna State Government on Saturday began the enforcement of the ban on motorcycles and restrictions of tricycles from 6 am to 7 pm.
Tricycles will only be allowed to operate from 6.00 am to 7.00 pm. The government said the order which takes effect from September 30, 2021, was to curtail the activities of bandits. Many workers, businessmen, and women, including law enforcement agents; police, NSCDC, immigration, Nigeria Correctional Service have no option but to wait for commercial buses and tricycles which were scanty.
With the enforcement of the ban, many whose relatives take ill in the night and need require to be taken to the hospital will have to wait till the following morning.
