The Peoples Democratic Party , candidate in Jaba local government area of Kaduna State, Philip Gwada has won the Sept. 4 chairmanship election.
Mr Omale explained that Mr Gwada scored 9,012 votes to defeat the closest candidate of the All Progressive Congress , Mr. Benjamin Jock, who polled 5,640 votes.According to the Returning Officer, “Therefore, Hon. Philip Gwada of the PDP, having satisfied the requirements of the law and scored the highest number of votes, is hereby, declared winner of the election and returned elected.”
