Customers flooded commercial banks in Kaduna on Monday, making withdrawals, following the Central Bank directives to all commercial banks to pay their

The CBN had ordered commercial banks to work on weekends and many customers found their way to the banks to make withdrawals.

Customers were allowed to make withdrawals of up to 50,000 naira in some banks while in other commercial banks, customers were only allowed to withdraw 30,000 naira based on the cash available. Speaking with DAILYPOST, a customer service officer in one of the banks, Mr. Suleiman Ayuba said the withdrawal limit could exceed depending on the availability of cash at the bank’s disposal

Also, Customer relationship officer at another bank, Mr. Denis James said there is no fixed withdrawal amount, adding that it may rise or reduce, depending on the available funds.
