The Judiciary Staff Union Congress of Nigeria in Cross River State has prevented the Election Petitions Tribunal from sitting.
But JUSUN locked up all entrances into the state magistrate courts premises on Moore Road Calabar which was to be the venue for the EPT in Calabar. State Chairman of JUSUN in Cross River State, Enya Egon Etorti in an 8-point demand said they had embarked on an indefinite strike action with effect from 2nd of May 2023, and as a result, all their offices and courts were under lock and key.
