The action, which is said to be against the Federal Character Law governing appointment into public offices in Nigeria, has been condemned by many persons, including the former Chairman of the Special Presidential Investigative Panel for the Recovery of Public Property, Okoi Obono-Obla. “Why is the government so clueless like this?
