JUST IN: “Keep Spending Old Naira” – Elrufai tells Nigerians, defies Buhari/CBN policy via politicsngr

politicsnigeriaThe Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-rufai has called on Nigerians to keep spending the Old naira notes, a directive that is in defiance to the Federal Government’s Policy on the Currency Swap.

In his words; “Everyone, especially people in Kaduna should not be disturbed because of the Naira swap deadline,” said the Kaduna governor in the Hausa language. “Continue running your businesses and daily activities with whatever notes you have.” It can be recalled that the new currency swap policy has jointly been condemned by majorly Loyalists of the Party’s presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, with some claiming it’s a ‘calculated’ attempt to scuttle his ability to win the elections.

PoliticsNGR APC confusion

PoliticsNGR Its not about spending it, we're not seeing the money thats it

PoliticsNGR The problem is that people are not getting the old money. CBN is just being cruel with this policy.

PoliticsNGR You have so much qualifications I must say, your announcement is breaking the law and you are part of the government that creates the law. What are you trying to prove by saying they should defy the law is it wise or foolish of you. The good news is you will be irrelevant soon.

PoliticsNGR That is what they want up there. While some are far ahead in this country, others just want to remain where they are because of nothing but selfish interests

PoliticsNGR This man don finally run mad

PoliticsNGR Is he giving us the naira to spend
