President Muhammadu Buhari is currently presiding over a Security Council meeting at the State House, Abuja.
The meeting is coming amidst spiraling security tension and violence in some parts of the country and the call for the sack of security chiefs. The meeting also has the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo ; the Secretary to the Government of the Federation , Boss Mustapha; the Chief of Staff to the President, Professor Ibrahim Gambari; and the National Security Adviser , Major General Babagana Monguno , in attendance.
Some of the Ministers are the Attorney-General of the Federation, AGF and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, the Minister of Defence, Bashir Magashi, the Minister of Police Affairs, Mohammad Dingyadi and the Minister of State, Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Zubairu Dada.
