I think their only target was to destroy the armoured vehicle,” he stated.The community leader, however, said that security agents had visited the village to take stock of the damage incurred as a result of the attack, adding that many residents were going about normal daily activities.
Meanwhile, the Kaduna State Police Command and the State government were yet to react to the attack as at press time. It would be recalled that Birnin-Gwari local government area of the State has been in the news in recent times following activities of bandits and Ansaru terrorist group, who have dominated many villages and rendered over 50,000 people in the area homeless.
