Another top government official working with Governor Rotimi Akeredolu has resigned his appointment to join the Zenith Labour Party , ahead of the October 10 Ondo governorship election.
In his resignation letter addressed to Mr Akeredolu, he appreciated the governor for giving him the opportunity to serve the state in the capacity of a Commissioner in the intervention agency. After his resignation, he resigned from the All Progressives Congress and joined the ZLP, with his supporters.
In addition, a former chairman of Ileoluji/Okeigbo and lawmaker representing the constituency, Folagbade Gbemibade dumped the Peoples Democratic Party for ZLP.
It's not so much these subtle and overt political moves that are funny, but the responses of the Twitter APC/PDP members. So hilarious! Their analysis is solely based on whom they support. When this happened in Edo, it spelt doom, now its nothing... And vice versa🤣
It’s a season of betrayal, it has paid off in Edo so it’s not an offence for them to try their luck.
