The Jigawa State Government has banned the sale of petrol products in jerrycans or any other container across the state.

The order said ” all petrol stations in the state are prohibited from selling more than 60 litres of petrol in any container, jerrycan, or vessel to an individual except corporate bodies. “Pursuant to the authority vested in me by the constitution as the Governor of the Jigawa State I hereby prohibit the sale of petrol more than 60 litres in any container except corporate bodies”
