The Coalition of Buhari Support Groups in Jigawa on Sunday cleared the air over alleged stand of Gov. Muhammad Badaru on the 2023 governorship

Mr Musa Guri, Chairman, Coalition of Buhari Support Groups in Jigawa, made the clarification in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria in Dutse.

Guri said that Badaru was misquoted by a section of media which allegedly reported that the “governor could only support a 2023 governorship aspirant in the state chosen by President Muhammadu Buhari.” “The governor is only saying that he is going to support any presidential aspirant supported by President Muhammadu Buhari and not a governorship aspirant in Jigawa State as reported in the media,” Guri said.
