A 40-year-old jealous mother of two, Charlene Gregory, has been accused of smashing a friend's head against the ground after she perceived she was flirting with her boyfriend.

She had asked the friend,"Why are you looking at my boyfriend" before she pulled her to the ground as the victim tried to walk away. The incident occurred on February 25, 2021 after Armitt had gone out to buy groceries, a Stockport magistrates' court heard.She was also given eight weeks jail suspended for 18 months.

"She would say Miss Gregory asked her 'Why are you looking at my boyfriend', to which the complainant told her to 'go away' before walking off around the corner.
