IYC shuts seven filling stations in Bayelsa over non-compliance with N125 pump price

Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital over their non-compliance with the Federal Government with the new pump price of N125 per litre.

The angry youths who were led by the IYC Central zone Chairman, Comrade Kennedy Olorogun, explained that their action was informed by the docile attitude of the Department of Petroleum Resources and other agencies of the Federal Government to ensure compliance with the directive of government to all filing stations to revert from N145 to N125 per lite.

He equally frowned at the nonchalant attitude of DPR and other Petroleum regulatory authorities for not swinging into action to stop this bothersome, declaring that the zonal leadership of Ijaw youths will keep on monitoring the filling stations that are yet to comply with the fuel price reduction.
