Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, on Thursday, reacted angrily to insinuations that he defected to the All Progressives Congress for financial reasons.
Mr Fani-Kayode officially dumped the Peoples Democratic Party for the ruling APC on Thursday after years of criticising the party.The news of Mr Fani-Kayode’s defection went viral after Femi Adesina, a spokesperson to President Muhammadu Buhari, shared pictures of the ex-minister as he was welcomed to the party at the Presidential Villa on Thursday.
“I’m proud to be here, it doesn’t matter what people say or think,” apparently conscious of what critics would say. He reacted angrily when the anchor of the programme, Seun Okinbaloye, read a comment from a critic linking his defection to possible financial incapacity or inducement.
This is the most reason why I don't blame men when they're talking evil against their fellow men because they maybe speaking out of hunger and frustration until succour comes their way. FFK is a typical example of such a hungry man.
