The Indigenous People of Biafra has condemned the burning of President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Prof. George Obiozor’s country home, stressing that those against Biafra’s liberation and the release of its leader, Nnamdi Kanu, are responsible for the arson.

Gunmen had set ablaze Obiozor’s residence at Awomanma in Oru East Council of Imo State on Saturday morning just detonated explosives on vehicles at the Ohanaeze leader’s home. “We the global family of IPOB, led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, totally condemn the burning of Prof. George Obiozor’s country home. This barbaric act is shameful and disgraceful to Ndigbo.”

“We don’t consider Obiozor an enemy of IPOB and the Biafra struggle. So, anybody targeting him for attack is treading on dangerous grounds. He has done nothing to deserve such attack,” the statement reads.
