Igbo separatist organisation, Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has denounced the alleged killing of Biafrans by security operatives disguised as ‘unknown gunmen’.

It particularly cautioned the alleged perpetrators of the killing of innocent persons in Okporo and Umutanze in Orlu, Imo State, to stop or face mass resistance.

It accused the Nigerian army and police of killing people in Biafra land and burning their houses while blaming the actions on unknown gunmen. It also called on the police to immediately release persons they picked and tagged Eastern Security Network operatives or charge them to court. “Since government abandoned their duty to focus on dishing out false information to the public, we also are out to expose them. Those you paraded before the public are not ESN members. Nigeria must stop ridiculing herself before the world because everyone is watching her activities.

“These ‘Efulefus’ and evil politicians decided to sponsor the Nigerian army and police to attack innocent Biafrans in Orlu and other places in Biafra land, to implicate IPOB and ESN.
