The Board of Governors of the African Development Bank has denied reports that the bank’s President, Dr Akinwumi Adesina, has resigned.
The board, in a statement by its chairman, Niale Kaba, said no decision has been taken on the complaint by some shareholders about the Ethics Committee report exonerating Adesina of allegations of ethical misconduct.
“The Office which I chair wishes to reassure the public that it has taken up the matter and is treating it with the greatest rigour and with all the seriousness that it deserves. However, the Office informs the public that no decision has been made as falsely conveyed in some publications. “I must emphasise that there is no institutional crisis within the African Development Bank Group. Above all, in no case has the President of the Bank Group been asked to resign.
“Everyone must allow the Office to do its work and let the process of examining this case take its course. The opinion of all the governors will be sought for its successful outcome.”
America want to dominate at all cost. Africa Ara allowing America charge of their own development bank. If adesina resigns Africa will never regain their post again. They should stop denting adesinas image all because he has refused to be a puppet to them.
Good!
America leave our bank for us
The western world are afraid of the unprecedented achievement recorded in four year by this man, if he resigned that will be honourable as he wouldn't want his image detented by propaganda of the West.
akin_adesina , please in the name of everything you believe in, please DO NOT resign....its important for our pride that you stay on and finish the 2nd term.
