INEC staff caught on tape collecting N1000 to give out PVCs [WATCH] via politicsngr

Social media users have raised concerns, saying the brazen extortion is a threat to free and fair election in Nigeria.

This newspaper reports that many Nigerians are collecting their PVCs to enable them to exercise their franchise.This was disclosed by the National Commissioner and Chairman, Information and Voter Education Committee, Festus Okoye.Since the African country returned to democratic rule in 1999, next month’s election will be the sixth time Nigeria will conduct a general election.
