Provost, Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education (AOCOED), Ijanikin, Prof B.B Lafiaji-Okuneye, has assured that with improved teacher education, the college will help in fixing the challenges confronting the sector.

Lafiaji-Okuneye, at a press conference to review activities of the college, said the school has step up measures to adopt best standard in teaching profession.

“For instance, prompt payment of salaries and arrears are proofs of industrial harmony and improved productivity currently being witnessed in the college.” While emphasising the importance of partnerships and collaborations in institutional development, Lafiaji-Okuneye said the synergy between government, privileged organisations and affluent Nigerians has helped in securing improved teacher education.
