PDP National Chairman, Uche Secondus while addressing a world press conference on the recent verdict of the Supreme Court on Imo governorship. The party made this known on Wednesday at a press conference at the party’s secretariat in Abuja.
The seven-member panel of the Supreme Court led by Chief Justice Tanko Muhammad gave the unanimous decision on Tuesday in Abuja.
He said the Supreme Court, in a host of cases, the latest and most celebrated being Atiku V Buhari & Ors, consistently decided that for a petitioner to succeed in an allegation of infraction of any provision of the Electoral Act especially one complaining about malpractice, as in this case, wrongful exclusion of votes,“The question is, how many witnesses did Uzodinma/APC call from the 388 polling units from where the Supreme Court allocated votes to him?” Mr Secondus asked.
“Indeed election did not even take place in most of the units for one reason or another, like violence, etc and so no result could possibly be obtained from those units. The results were not merely rejected or cancelled by“None of the candidates or their counsel, except perhaps APC, as we speak, are aware of the number of votes scored by each party from the 388 polling units. The Tribunal or Court of Appeal did not mention or ascribe any figure from the units to any party in their decisions.
“As already known, there was only one accreditation for the 2 elections. The APC did not win any of the 27 seats in the Imo State House of Assembly.” “If the people no longer repose confidence in the Supreme Court, then our democracy, national cohesion and stability are at great risk.”

Toothless dog kinda opposition 🤦♂️
Pdp refuse to update..even naja electoral don update...sure than never ready d judgments...why guys continue to go the wrong I never know..mumu opposition
PDP is not a serious political party.
Mumu opposition with empty threat
And when the two lower courts uphold the election the PDP were full praises for the judicial system. Now that the table has turned, you're shamelessly condemning the CJN. This is the highest show of irresponsibility.
Those of you supporting this nonsense you don’t know what this is doing to our control. If our judiciary is dead nobody is coming to invest in Nigeria what is even wrong with you people. How can you allow politics destroy our country ? Tanko is a sharia judge with no brain
Tanko will destroy this country
Is unfortunate that old man like him can be used to twart truth
DrJoeAbah can those that threaded the outcome of the verdict thread more on how votes where awarded above the accredited and valid votes by Technicality of CJN and Supreme Court on Imo Governorship election verdict?
So these fellows did not read the statement but are commenting up and down. Can Supreme Court change the no of accredited votes in an election? No hence it is found that their verdict exceed the accredited and valid votes that means that Supreme Court verdict is Null & Void
Tanko d Sharia man, hear him speak he doesn't merit an CJN at all.
*demand......
Then let him include that of Zamfara and Rivers
Now I believed people with sense have left PDP
Obey court odahhhh.... 😂😂
😜😜😜😂😜😜😜
In saner climes, Justices like Mr Tanko and Ekun should be languishing in Jail. How can you explain this type of unprecedented mathemajic judgment?
Clowns masquerading as opposition
Bunch of joker's ! But you didn't asked him to step aside when the supreme Court dashed you Zamfara , crippled APC in Rivers few days before election , give you a favourable judgement in some states ?
PDP IS DEAD.
OfficialPDPNig celebrates for zamfara judgement....🤣🤣🤣 now crying for IMO
This tweet is funny
Lol, very funny for opposition wanting to fire the CJN. That means if PDP were to be in power they will fire the CJN if there is a ruling against the party.
How will the supreme Court reverse itself?
Political party without political ideology
So OfficialPDPNig is the new NJC
