Ikeja Electric Plc, one of the power distribution companies in the country, on Wednesday, has said the planned upgrade of 132KV lines by the Transmission Company of Nigeria will cause power supply interruption in some parts of Lagos for eight weeks starting from October 11.

According to the Disco, the planned re-conductoring of the 132KV lines embarked upon by the TCN is aimed at expanding the capacity to wheel more power. He said, “The TCN is currently embarking on the upgrade of 132 KV lines from Ikeja West to Ota and this activity is phased into four stages.
