IGC Introduces Cup to honour late captain, picks new date for invitational

A trophy in memory of Ibironke, according to Oladosu, has been introduced as a major coup for the competition, which also offers mouth-watering incentives. It is open to all golfers from major golf clubs in Nigeria. The acting captain added: “We are expecting many golfers from other golf clubs like Ikeja, IBB, Ikoyi, Abeokuta, Ekiti, Benin and Port Harcourt golf clubs, among others. That is why we are not leaving any stone unturned towards ensuring an itch-free tournament.
