Ibadan Poly sends students on compulsory mid-semester break after violent football match

The management of The Polytechnic Ibadan on Thursday said that it has suspended all Students’ Union Government activities within the campus.

The institution also said that it has asked the students to proceed to a compulsory mid-semester break. The suspension of student politics in the institution, according to the Public Relations Officer , of the institution, Alhaji Soladoye Adewole, was necessary in order to forestall breakdown of peace in the institution.
