The National Chairman of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, Prof. Rufai Alkali, has resigned from the position.According to him, his decision to step down was to give room for a fresh hand to take over.“This is precisely why I have decided, with all sense of responsibility, to step aside from the office of the National Chairman of our party to give room for fresh hands to take over to build upon and improve on our modest contributions.
Also copied were the Chairman, Board of Trustees, Boniface Aniebonam, and the Secretary, Board of Trustees, Buba Galadima.
It is indeed unfortunate that despite your presence, the NNPP could not enter into an alliance with Labour Party to give the Nigerian people an administration worthy of emulation.
