A former Minister of Aviation and chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, Femi Fani-Kayode, has reacted to the two batches of ministerial nominees released by President Bola Tinubu in which his name was conspicuously missing. The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio had read the two lists as forwarded to the chamber by the presidency during plenary. Femi Gbajabiamila, former Speaker of the House of Representatives and presently the Chief of Staff to the president, delivered the lists to Akpabio.

Reacting to the ministerial list in a tweet on Thursday, Fani-Kayode reminded Tinubu and Nigerians that he was a minister 16 years ago and knew how challenging the positions could be.Fani-Kayode said, “Congratulations to all those in both the first and second Ministerial lists of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu . They are all excellent choices and I wish them the very best in their service to our great nation. I was a Minister 16 years ago and I know how taxing and challenging it can be.
