, Barnabas maintained that she could never be caught dead fighting over any man on social media. She said, “I won’t deny that I have a pretty face and that has added to the things I have achieved so far but I have also worked really hard to get to where I am. Even as a beauty queen, one has to be very intelligent. One cannot wear the crown simply because one is pretty. One has to possess other outstanding qualities.

“When it comes to relationships, I do not think it is right to disgrace oneself over one. For me, what will work will work and vice versa. I will never fight over a man whoever it is. It is better I walk out of the relationship than to embarrass myself over a man. If he can get to the point of letting me fight for him, then he is not worth it. It’s better to walk away than to fight and embarrass myself. I think it is very disgraceful to fight over a man.

Talking about her mermaid-themed birthday shoot, she added, “I did not go overboard with my photo shoot. I just needed to do something that was not regular. I have once won a contest called, which literally means ‘owner of the sea’. The shoot was just to make myself happy, nothing more. However, it was not easy shooting at the seaside. It was like the water was very angry and troubled. I was scared and I prayed to God.

The actress also revealed that she was in a ‘serious’ relationship. She said, “I’m not going to marry myself. However, I am in a very serious relationship that will hopefully lead to marriage. He is in the entertainment industry but is not an actor. The fact that I am a public figure doesn’t mean I should put my private life out there. I have never been a ‘side chic’.
