Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, on Saturday explained to the people of the state that he sacked his cabinet during the week to bring the state out

The governor explained this while marking this year’s Democracy Day in Zaki, the headquarters of Zaki Local Government Area of the state.

Speaking in Zaki on Saturday, the governor said he dissolved the State Executive Council to allow others to serve and move the state forward. He said those sacked did not know how to play politics, adding that he had to bring in real politicians who could do the job and join hands with him to bring the state out of the deadlock.

Speaking on the payment of workers’ salaries on the state government’s payroll, the governor disclosed that his administration had been paying salaries as and when due, adding that there was no worker being owed his salary by the government. He submitted that those complaining of nonpayment of salary were enemies of Bauchi State’s progress, declaring that, “I pay salaries before the end of the month and I have been doing that since my assumption in office.”
