An international student at the Coventry University, Moboluwarin Ayeye, who called for a ban on Amala in a class presentation, has said that he was proud of his Yoruba heritage and also as a Nigerian man.Ayeye, who simply goes by Bolu on his Twitter handle, said, “He added that the presentation was part of a class project to help students improve their presentation skills, hence, the content of the presentation didn’t really matter.

“The first to my fellow Africans in the room to catch their attention and the second one, ‘Why Superman is the greatest hero of all times,’ to catch everyone in general’s attention. What is funny in the end, I realised while practising I wouldn’t even have the time to use these two joke icebreaker slides and skipped over them during my slides, the real presentation was actually on Brexit.”

The best swallow in the world better than garri and fufu...that guy is an ogbolo

He is ignorant and lost. Needs direction of purpose in life. I think he needs education first. The one he had was not it. He himself needs to be banned from organising any seminar in life.

Mumu boi,krack head

It's just a practicing presentation...he need a catchy topic...d contexts is baseless.... Just practicing

Foolishness

Sorry to yourself Omo Ale

Amala is a food, so you can't wake up one day and ban people's food just like that, colonized mentality.

Attention seeker..

It's so pathetic that I couldn't found any reason why he want Amala to be banned when I went through the news on Punch newspaper. I think this guy need to be taken to a psychiatrist Can someone now compare that food to chemical processed ones?

Betrayed You betrayed yourself!?

He didn't ban yoghurt dat made him luks like bag of beans. Arindin

People should learn to read. Not just commenting anyhow. Pls read the article,he was just honing his skills on presentation. Amala lovers calm down oooo. I luv Amala too.

Which of the Amala. I just finished a plate now. With 2 goat meats. If I hear that again......

Imagine this heediot... You travel and it's no longer your culture... It's now 'their' culture... Na who pay your fees nai I blame

I said this and I'm still gonna repeat myself! 'pls, if you wanna be famous, why not try another means instead of trying to condemn the meal dah has been existing before your dream of existing'? 😒😕 leaveourAmala! 😁

This mumu sha want people to know him by all means. Oponu

Krazy is worrying dis boy. No respect 4 one of d greatest food ever, shiooor na lack of home training sha

We no vex. However, he should come Island first, I go make sure him swallow all the amala Marina Road.

Now we know; as a 'certified' instructor myself I do u/stand that in a demonstration/presentation contents matter less than (the) methods, but then presenters shld also know that 'to offend' people's sensibilities' is a No No. That said, (may) I plead that he be forgiven!

Goat

Their culture! Guy you are a Nigerian by blood, better come back home and stop this non sense

Fool!!!

Àmàlà, saving lives since 1900

Ewedu and gbegiri will surely sue you no doubt.

Very ugly guy his family sent him abroad to study he went there to disgrace them

Nigerians still backward. This gentleman has scientific proofs that demonstrated how harmful this food is. He is trying to save his people.

That dudu is suffering from mental slavery, does it mean every food from Europe,America etc are all good don't get carried away with western education your forefathers eat that food for long nothing happened to them stay health with long life.

No be his fault

We still love our amala. Come to Saudi, Skye Bank, Olaiya, white house and co

Nonsense. What concerns us with that. I even took it some hours ago

We didn't even think about him. His rubbish didn't bother us. If he gets to a place where they're eating amala, he should cover his nose and run out.

You couldn’t advocate for religious and tribal killings going on in the country. Na food wey don dry before yourgreat great grand father you dey advocate to ban. Misplaced priority.
