The Delta State Governor-elect, Sheriff Oborevwori, on Monday, assured the people of the state that he would consolidate on the achievements of the outgoing Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.

According to him, he had learned many things in the last six and a half years as Speaker of the State House of Assembly.

“One of them is that I have learned the importance of setting the priorities of the government, communicating the goals and outcomes of policies and programmes, and pursuing them with relentless zeal. “I certainly believe that my rich experiences in the Executive and Legislative arms of government put me in good stead to provide good governance to our people,” he stated.

Oborevwori, however, commended his opponents for their robust campaign and hard-fought electoral battle, saying he looks forward to whatever ideas and advice they may have in helping to move Delta forward. All rights reserved. Okowa achieved nothing, except the looting of public funds and the paving of all farm roads in Owa, his home town. Asaba only added new privately owned buildings built by individuals, and some people construe that as govt development projects.

Okowa achieve anything?

My Poor Delta state is in for another 4yrs of useless leadership, but unfortunately it's citizens are more interested in what's happening in Lagos

More loans 🙌,more levies and taxes on the poor as he is a levy-star ✅

Achievement or bad governance just a question

Once any politicians make this statement, forget it... He will be worse than the previous govt...
