The new Governor of Delta State, Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori on Monday pledged to build on the legacy of the outgone Governor of the State, D

r. Ifeanyi Okowa adding that he will also give special attention to Warri, the commercial hub of Delta to advance the economy of the state.

He maintained that his administration will ensure the completion of all ongoing projects notably roads, bridges, schools, and other physical infrastructure. Oborevwori declared that the day “marks the beginning not only of a new administration, but of an era that will advance Delta State to greater heights in people-centered policies, human capital development, and infrastructure renewal”.

“Before the ongoing Storm Water Project will be completed, the government will commence efforts at giving Warri and its environs a total facelift. Similarly, the ongoing rehabilitation work on the Warri Township Stadium will be expedited”, he stated.
