The former DSS official, however, said even if Magu is found to be clean after the investigation, it would be best for him to still resign.Amachree said he was surprised that Magu was retained by the President despite being rejected twice by the Senate. He said the fact that the panel was sitting at the Presidential Villa showed that the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari , was behind the probe.
Amachree said, “If I was Magu and I go before this panel and they give me a clean bill that all the allegations against me are faulty, once I come out, what I would do is to resign.”
