Speaking with New Telegraph newspaper, the commissioner noted that while Kwankwaso was at the water board and another political dispensation was around, he personally insisted that Kwankwaso had to join partisan politics. He noted that because of his political influence, he made the ex-governor to contest for House of Representatives’ seat and he won.
He said in all the elections that were conducted in Kano, they had never had a genuine, free and fair election while Kwankwaso held sway in the state as governor.
