OGUN State Governor Ibikunle Amosun said yesterday that his administration attracted 423 mega industries and over 1,000 medium and small-scale industries in the last eight years.
The governor spoke at the official launch of Ogun State Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency at the Mitros Hotel and Residences, Abeokuta, the state capital. The governor, who was represented at the launch by the Secretary to the State Government Taiwo Adeoluwa, said his government also tackled all the issues that hitherto turned Ogun State into a “pariah state” in terms of economic growth.
According to him, the agency would ensure sustainability of his administration’s economic policies and programmes to place the state on a path of rapid and steady socioe-conomic growth.
