I have been diagnosed with cervical cancer. Last week, I joined an international webinar that discussed the disease and it had many Nigerians joining from home. It dawned on me that many of us do not know much about cervical cancer. So I will appreciate if your column can enlighten readers about it.The cervix is the lower part of the uterus . It is sometimes called the uterine cervix. The foetus grows in the body of the uterus . The cervix connects the body of the uterus to the vagina .
