An Instagram celebrity, Ismail Mustapha, alias Mompha, who used to be a close friend of Hushpuppi, disclosed in a video interview that stubbornness and highhandedness on the part of Hushpuppi was the reason for his predicament.
The arrest of Hushpuppi was due to his involvement and links to internet fraud perpetrated across various countries. He maintained that he would not have been linked with the Hushpuppi case if he had not invited him to Dubai from Malaysia.
Hushpuppi had so much faith in Abba Kyari, who he saw as a godfather that will protect him from any kind of prosecution. Little did he know that his days are numbered
