A popular pharmacist, Mathias Odo has been Kidnapped by unknown gunmen in Okuku in Yala Local government area of Cross River State.
An eyewitness, Alphonsus Ogar Eba said the victim was kidnapped on Saturday at about 7.15pm, adding that he alerted the Yala youths and the police who immediately conducted serious search in the area. “The youths went into the bush and on sighting the youths and security operatives; the kidnappers abandoned their victim and fled. We rescued him unhurt, it was a miracle, we thank God.
“The car used for the operation was later found abandoned near Benue suburb within the City of Vandeikiya.
