The governor narrated the experience on Saturday in Oro, Kwara, at the 12th Annual Ramadan Lecture hosted by Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the Minister of Information and Culture.
He recalled that Ramadan started two days after he took the Oath of Office in 2015 and he had an experience that triggered his resolve to focus on food production. The governor said further investigation revealed that the community had no food to eat which was a source of concern to him.Bagudu said that experience made him want to liberate the people of the state from hunger and place the state on the fast lane of food production.
