Former Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham has disclosed how he was convinced by Roma boss Jose Mourinho to make the switch from London to Rome.

Abraham, who returned to the England squad after a year, spoke to journalists ahead of their Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Andorra said Mourinho had a plan for Roma, and he wants to be a part of it.

He said, “The first thing he said to me was, ‘Do you want to enjoy some sun or stay in the rain?’ I laughed! Jose had a goal. I could see where he wanted Roma to go, and I wanted to be part of the process.”
