Following the recent statement released by the Lagos State Government authorities announcing the partial lifting of restrictions on religious places of worship regarding physical gatherings, the House On The Rock Church said its premises situated at Lekki, Lagos is not yet open for in-person services.
Religious centres in Lagos, including churches, were closed in April as a part of the measures to limit the spread of coronavirus. Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, said that churches whose main worship days fell on Saturdays, were permitted to hold their services on Saturdays, subject to the same guidelines as churches holding services on Sundays.”Places of Worship in Lagos State will be allowed to open from Friday the 7th of August for our Muslim worshippers, and Sunday the 9th of August for Christian worshippers.
