Mr Buhari said government is a continuum, and he desired that the unfinished business of his administration found continuity and fulfilment in his successor as he did to his predecessor.

on Wednesday in Abuja said time and history will no doubt speak more eloquently of his stewardship.

He said the scorecard series, legacy portal, testimonies series, documentary and the compendium put together by the ministry were the documented pieces of evidence of the achievements of the administration. Speaking on the content of the works, Mr Buhari said the testimony series featured the testimonials of actual beneficiaries of the Social Investment Programmes of the administration.

“We also see the president of the rice farmers association who told us how rice production in the country has increased exponentially under the Anchor Borrowers Programme.

How would history speak more of your stewardship when there is nothing of such under the 8 years of your hegemony. History would talk more about the monetary policy of your administration that meted monumental hardship on the downtrodden. Can’t forget this period until I die.
