, Ikhlas Badiru, by the Principal, Mrs. Phebean Olowe, the School Accountant identified as Mr. Odewale and other staff of the school.
Balogun said, “Following our tactical withdrawal from the ISI Hijab matter from the State High Court in Ibadan on June 25, 2019, the Principal through her agents had embarked on harassment intimidation and molestation of some of the Muslim girls who took the school to court to enforce their fundamental human rights to wear hijab in the school premises.
“The Principal, however, carried out her threat when on Wednesday, July 3 and Thursday July 4, some Muslim girls who normally, remove their Hijab at the entrance of the school gate, were barred from coming to the school some 100 metres from the main gate of the school. “As if that was not enough, we were reliably informed that the Principal, Mrs. Olowe went to the affected girl’s class to embarrass and scolded her in the presence of her colleagues. We also learnt that the School had hurriedly put up a Student Disciplinary Panel to try all the girls with the hope of suspending them and later expel them from the school.

It seems that people are insensitive to religious issues, let somebody reasonable talk to the principal please, apart from the consequences it may bring, it can damage the reputation of the school as being biased
If hijab is not part of the school uniform, then they should not wear it!! Period!!
Must you attend that school? Change school if you can't stick to the status-quo
We always dwell on minor issues leaving major issues to suffer. It would be nice if ISI was in the news because of academic issues rather than this frivolity.
D school is a private school 4 God sake dr are many lSLAMIC schools around d area including d almajiri it is certainly a matter of choice,u either follow d school rules or opt out of d school period!
No body is calling anybody to order.... Ur children can leave the school if you can't comply with the rules or better still build ur own school....
If you want your children wearing hijab send them to Muslim schools. You cannot impose your religious beliefs on any institution bearing in mind there are other religions and should they too demand their beliefs be respected, what next?
May Allah make it easy for the south easterners to deal with this issue of Hijab barring in schools (amin)
But if not the hatred I don't think Hijah has something to do with education or is Nigeria is Christian country if answer is NO I don't think they have right to deprived someone from her religion right ✔️
