Leading pan-Igbo think-tank, Nzuko Umunna has warned apex Fulani social-cultural group, Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria to “immediately withdraw” its proposal to set up “Fulani Vigilantes” in South East zone.
In a statement signed and made available to DAILY POST on Friday by Messrs Ngozi Odumuko and Paschal Mbanefo, its Coordinator and Secretary respectively, the pan-Igbo organisation said the proposal “is not only the height of insult but a clear vote of no-confidence on the nation’s security apparatus.”
“This is the inescapable conclusion when States begin to outsource the nation’s security to non-State actors such as Miyetti Allah.
Why don't miyetti take care of the killings, kidnapping and banditry going on in the north or they didn't notice. This has to be a Greek gift. Clean your home before cleaning other people's home.
I don't know when this thing will end , I am calling on government to take a very serious action against those people who they doesn't need peace
We will not tolerate such in Igbo land
