of some suspended members of the party in truncating the overwhelming gains achieved by the party in the state.
Speaking during an exclusive interview with DAILY POST on Monday, against the backdrops of the ongoing peace process in the state chapter of the All Progressive Congress, Chief Ikoh, also a former Commissioner of Industry in Abia State, regretted that these characters unrelentingly feed fat in sowing seeds of discord and disunity and also expressing dismay at the inability of the national leadership of the party to take urgent disciplinary action and curb the clogs in the wheel of progress and...
Ikoh equally frowned at the running of a parallel structure of the party in the state by some suspended chieftains restating that the latter’s anti-party postures have done more harm than good, which he alleged, was negatively affecting the chances of the party to form government in the state and reiterating that no one man can own a party and win elections.
Chief Ikoh noted that whatever forms of crisis bedeviling the party in the State can also be capably handled by the stakeholders in the State and however, urged warring leaders and teeming members of the party to abstain from the negative tendency that is capable of jeopardizing tremendous and laudable gains and as well, the chances of the APC in securing a win in future elections.
